The Best from Czech Lands!

The Best from Czech Lands!

Not only the best beers from the Asian or American continent will arrive this year at the Gold Brewer's Seal Awards ... "Star Beers", awarded at numerous international events, will also be sent out to our tasting competitions by Czech breweries.

Participation has been confirmed by the absolute winners of the previous four years of GBSA (Antos Brewery, Starobrno Brewery, Novosad Harrachov Brewery).

The repeated participation of the last year's double awardee, Kout Brewery, has been confirmed as well. You should know that this small craft brewery from the Šumava Mountains is, according to the experts from the British Men's Journal magazine which has recently selected the elite hundred "top" of the world beers, currently the best producer of "pilsner" lager on the planet.

One of the most successful breweries in the long-term GBSA's evaluation Primator Brewery, has registered beers in 18 out of 29 categories! The top quality of its beers is guaranteed thanks to the excellent results achieved not only at the Gold Brewer's Seal Awards (10 gold medals for the past 6 years), but also at other international competitions.

One of the most successful breweries in the long-term GBSA's evaluation, Primator Brewery, has registered beers in 18 out of 29 categories! The top quality of its beers is guaranteed by the excellent results achieved not only at the Gold Brewer's Seal Awards, but also at other international competitions. Primator Weizenbier was even declared, coincidentally also in Great Britain, the World's Best Beer across all categories. In 2013 it received the following titles at the World Beer Awards competition: WBA World's Best Beer, WBA World's Best Wheat, WBA World's Best GOLD, and WBA Europe GOLD 2013. Primator Premium Dark was awarded the title of Europe's Best Dark Lager at the same competition in the same year. www.worldbeerawards.com/primator-weizenbier.3895.html

Also, the "domestic" South Bohemian Budweiser Budvar has registered its successful dark lager: B: Dark (World's Best Lager 2007, several gold medals at Monde Selection, Brussels). Budweiser Budvar has signed up its Pardál Echt Lager, the bronze medal winner in the category of "Bohemian-Style Pilsener" at the world 's largest tasting competition (World Beer Cup 2014), as well as a year later at another great competition, this time in Germany (European Beer Star 2015). Budweiser Budvar B: Free became the bronze medal winner in the category of non-alcoholic beers at the International Beer Challenge 2012.

Domestic competition in dark lagers is going to be really interesting. Budweiser B: Dark and Primator Premium Dark will compete for gold with, for example, Litovel Schwarzbier (WBA / World's Best Dark Lager 2015) and Bernard Dark Lager which won European silver at the WBA 2014.

As for light lagers, beers such as Konrad 12º (World's Best Czech Pale Lager 2013), Postřižinské (Gold Brewer’s Seal Award 2015) and Krušovice Imperial (WBA / World's Best Czech Pilsner 2014) will be present besides the already mentioned Kout Brewery Lager and Budweiser Pardál Echt. To say nothing of many great rivals from abroad...

And what is most important to the visitors of the IBF? The majority of the great products of the Czech brewers will be allowed to be tasted and assessed not only by the professional jury, but also by all the participants of the Open festival as the above mentioned breweries will have their draft beer space in Hall T!
